Marilyn Sherron has decades of legal experience and a reputation for problem solving, effective communication, empathy, and positive results.

With decades of experience in municipal law and a successful track record of managing employment litigation and labor disputes for a prominent national communications company, Marilyn brings an unrivaled level of expertise to our team. Her invaluable experience and specialized training empower parties to maintain control over the outcome of their legal disputes, ensuring the best possible resolution. 

EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND

 

She recently retired from AT&T where she was an Assistant Vice President – Senior Corporate Counsel. Marilyn worked collaboratively to build, develop, and manage legal teams. She managed employment litigation in state and federal courts and represented the company in labor arbitrations, and state and federal administrative proceedings. Marilyn also provided advice and counsel regarding company-wide policy development in EEO, employment, and labor practices. Prior to joining AT&T she worked for the Seattle City Attorney’s Office as a prosecutor, providing advice to City departments, and ultimately as the director of the Employment Section. Marilyn was a working manager, maintaining her own litigation caseload while working to resolve conflicts facing the City of Seattle with patience, creativity and perseverance. Marilyn lends her time and talent serving on the boards of the King County Sexual Assault Resource Center as well as the Jubilee Women’s Center. 

 

Marilyn is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound and Seattle University School of Law. She recently added a mediation certification from Pepperdine’s highly regarded Strauss Institute.
